OBJECTIVE: To understand the status of lead and cadmium pollution by monitoring the contents of lead and cadmium in food in nine regions of Jilin Province, and to propose possible sources of pollution of lead and cadmium. Methods: The sample was pretreated according to the national standard method GB / T5009, and the contents of lead and cadmium were detected by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry. Results: From 2001 to 2008, a total of 2766 foods were tested for lead in 2766 foods and 2733 foods for cadmium. The exceeding standard of lead was 5.42% and the exceeding standard of cadmium was 5.74%. Conclusion: The pollution of lead and cadmium in food in nine areas of Jilin Province is not serious at present. However, the contents of lead and cadmium in all kinds of food are detected, indicating different degrees of accumulation. Among them, the content of lead in tea, preserved eggs and fish Higher, and pig kidney, fish, edible mushrooms and other foods higher in cadmium content, there is a potential threat to human health.
