LIBS is a kind of high-precision laser spectroscopy technology developed rapidly in recent years, and has been applied more and more in many fields, especially in environmental analysis and monitoring. The Journal of Atmospheric and Environmental Optics decides to publish a special issue entitled “Application of LIBS Technology in Environmental Monitoring” in 2016 to reflect progress in this area. The editorial department has invited domestic experts in this area to engage in this album, but also welcome the field of scientific research enthusiasts actively contribute.
