科技图书是科技文献的重要类型之一。对于科技图书究竟属于几次文献,其看法也不完全相同。笔者认为,一次文献的基本特点,首先,它是原始的创作,即指最初发表的文献。其次,它是从实践中直接产生出来的。只有符合上述特点,方能算一次文献。一般地说,科技图书不直接记录生产成果,它是一些有条理性系统论述的文献,大部分是已发表的理论的总结。因此很明显,科技图书不符合以上谈到的一次文献的二个基本特征,它不属于一次文献。科技图书也不属于二次文献。这是大家一致共认的。二次文献是系统地、完整地查找一次文献,对分散的无组织的一次文献进
Science and technology books are one of the important types of scientific literature. The views on scientific books belong to several times, their views are not exactly the same.
