京东图书公布了2014年图书销售业绩。统计数据显示,京东图书的市场份额已经超过亚马逊,仅次于当当网,其中少儿类图书、科技类图书,以及部分单品的销量均领先于当当网。这样的结果与我在前段时间预言的一样,京东等电商平台正在逐步冲击当当网最后的防线,即当当网的核心品类“图书”。当当图书:出版社的搬运工作为在线图书销售曾经的领先者,当当图书的商业模式却有着很大的问题。其商业模式主要是向上游出版社大批量采购图书,再通过互联网平台(自身B2C平台、以及第三方平台)
