1908年12月,荷兰政府拟定于海牙召开万国汇兑会,协商国际间贸易的货币汇兑问题,并照会清政府,邀其入会。后几经协商,万国汇兑会于1910年6月举行。这里刊出的有关史料,选自馆藏大清银行、外务部、度支部等全宗,主要反映了清政府围绕入会问题而进行的准备工作及与会的部分情况,可供近代国际贸易等方面研究参考。——编选者 哈恩忠
In December 1908, the Dutch government planned to hold a universal exchange meeting in The Hague to negotiate the issue of currency exchange in international trade and to pay tribute to the Qing government and invite them to join the conference. After several consultations, the nations exchange will be held in June 1910. The relevant historical materials published here are selected from the collections including the Qing Bank, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Branch Office of the Ministry of Finance and Democratically, which mainly reflect the preparations for the Qing government’s participation in the membership meeting and some of the circumstances of the meeting, and are available for study in the field of modern international trade reference. - Editor Hahn Zhong
