中国戏曲是以歌舞演故事的一门艺术。何为演故事?实际上就是演人,演人与人之间的关系及其作为、做派,而所演的人在戏曲中称为角色。既然演戏即演人,那么创造角色、塑造舞台上的人物形象,便是戏曲演员最根本的艺术任务。京剧“荀派”艺术创始人荀慧生先生就是一辈子在用心历练和实践“用歌舞演故事”这一宗旨,而使自己的艺术达到炉火纯青。京剧“荀派”花旦艺术是京剧百花园中的一朵奇葩,自“荀派”艺术形成至今,一直生生不息、繁衍不止,深受广大观众的欢迎和喜爱。本文将从“荀派”花旦艺术的演唱、念白、表演以及剧目等方面,阐明“荀派”花旦艺术的特点。
