中央电视台中国电视剧制作中心、香港银都机构有限公司联合录制的29集电视剧《香港的故事》自1996年7月18日在广东省河源县境内开机至1997年5月10日在北京全部制作完成,这部纵跨香港百年沧桑变迁史的艺术作品,仅历时10个月零5天的时间,创造了在中国电视剧拍摄史上好的纪录。《香港的故事》为配合’97香港回归祖国的重大宣传,广播电影电视部副部长兼中央电视台台长杨伟光同志亲与香港无线电视台协调,在中央电视台6月13日播出该剧的同时,香港同步播出。使1997年7月1日香港回归祖国期间,祖国大陆、香港地区同播《香》
29 episodes of TV series “The Story of Hong Kong” co-recorded by China Central Television’s China TV drama production center and Hong Kong Silver Capital Institution Co., Ltd. were started up in Heyuan County, Guangdong Province on July 18, 1996 and completed in Beijing on May 10, 1997 This piece of art spanning the vicissitudes of Hong Kong’s centuries-old history created only a good record in the history of the Chinese drama series taking only 10 months and 5 days. In line with the major propaganda of Hong Kong’s return to the motherland, the “Hong Kong Story” was coordinated with Hong Kong-based wireless television station by Vice-Minister of Radio, Film and Television and Comrade Yang Weiguang of CCTV. While CCTV broadcast the drama on June 13, Hong Kong broadcast simultaneously. During the return of Hong Kong to the motherland on July 1, 1997, the mainland Hong Kong and Hong Kong broadcast “Hong Kong”
