爱因斯坦说过:“兴趣是最好的老师。”这就是说一个人一旦对某事物有了浓厚的兴趣,就会主动去求知、去探索、去实践,并在求知、探索、实践中产生愉快的情绪和体验,所以古今中外的教育家无不重视兴趣在智力开发中的作用。小学生的性格正处在初步形成和发展的过程中,各种性格特征既具有稳定的一面,又具有可变的一面。因而性格特征的可塑性是小学生发展的重要特点。根据这一特点,小学语文教师可以通过培养学生的学习兴趣来提高学生语文成绩,使学生形成积极主动的学习态度,在获得基础知识与基本技能的过程同时形成正确的价值观。
