地球是一个巨大的磁场,人们在自然界中又找到了磁铁矿,生产了大量磁铁,人为的产生了磁场。而后,人们又利用电磁关系,发明了电磁场。磁场在现代科学研究中占据着重要席位,在农业上的应用越来越受到人们的广泛注意,应用范围正在扩大,用磁场处理种子就是一例。据试验,用磁场处理棉花、玉米、小麦、大豆、水稻、红薯、蔬菜等多种作物种子,都取得了增强发芽势,提早0.7~1天发芽,提高2%~10%的出苗率,提早1~6天成熟,增产2.7%~10.1%的明显效果,其中以红薯、大豆、蔬菜的增产,较其它作物更为明显。
