该墓志在1936年出土于洛阳孟津县北陈庄。墓志为正方形,高、宽各78厘米,厚15厘米。志文为隶书,分上下两列,各41行,行20字。首行题曰:“宋故朝议大夫致仕王公墓志铭”。碑文由宋代名臣范仲淹之子范纯仁撰,著名的史学家司马光书,李稹刻石。志石除少数文字残毁不清之外,其余皆清晰可见,现存开封市博物馆碑廊中(见图)。
The epitaph was unearthed in 1936 North Chenzhuang Mengjin County. Epitaph for the square, height, width of 78 cm, 15 cm thick. Zhiwen is the official script, divided into two columns, each of 41 lines, 20 lines. The first line reads: “Song Dynasty North Korea doctor reminder Wang cemetery epitaphs.” Inscriptions by the Fan Mingyan Ren Fan Zhongyan famous writer, the famous historian Sima Guangshu, Li 稹 stone. In addition to a small number of Zhi Shi incomplete unclear textures, the rest are clearly visible, the existing Kaifeng City Museum Beilan (see photo).
