疏水器是一种用在船舶热力设备和管道中自动排出凝水的管系附件。疏水器要能自动排放冷凝水,就应能感受输入介质的状态:是凝结水还是蒸汽;或感受介质的参数:水的温度低于还是接近饱和温度,并根据被识别的介质,自动开启或关闭疏水器。所以如何识别介质的特性是疏水器的关键。介质是水还是蒸汽,可根据物体在其中的浮力值判别。为区别介质的温度高低,可利用热膨胀等特性。据此,疏水器可分成以下各种类型。
