杨守敬,这是一位值得好好纪念的近代书法家。我虽是个书史、书法理论爱好者,但我没有对任何古代和近现代书家做过专门研究,写过专文,对杨守敬却是个例外,我竟然写了近两万字的长文。因为我有真情实感,有写作冲动,而且至今只要提到杨守敬,这些感识就会涌上心头。只是如今我年事已高,眼蒙手抖,无力成书,所以今年虽隆重举行纪念他逝世百年学术思想研讨会,我也不能做更深入的研究,说更多的话,只是联系当今书坛实际,说点感想,借以表达对贤者的敬仰。
Yang Shou-jing, this is a well-deserved commemorative modern calligrapher. Although I am a history of books, calligraphy theory enthusiasts, but I did not do any ancient and modern book experts have done specialized research, wrote the essay, but for Yang Shoujing is an exception, I actually wrote a long article nearly 20000 words.
