俗话说:“人往高处走,水往低处流”。“水往低处流”是因为受到重力的作用;而“人往高处走”则主要是为了改变生存环境。我们知道,人口分布与地理环境存在密切的关系。一般来说,人口密度平原大于山区,沿海地区大于内陆,城市大于乡村。同时,我们还应该看到,人口分布是动态的,人口总是在不断地发生迁移。

As the saying goes: “People go high and water goes down.” “The water flow to the lower places” is due to the effect of gravity; and “people go to higher places” is mainly to change the living environment. We know that there is a close relationship between population distribution and geographical environment. In general, the population density plain is larger than the mountainous area, the coastal area is larger than the inland area, and the city is larger than the countryside.
