The rectification of the charges of internal hotels and guest houses is an important part of controlling unproductive expenditure. Since 1980, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council have repeatedly issued a circular calling on all regions and departments to rectify the charges of internal hotels and guest houses.
