唐代文学家、思想家韩愈在《师说》中曾言:“师者,传道受业解惑也。”高超的师识本领和师艺技能是教师高素质的集中体现。受建构主义理论的影响,新课程改革要求教师转变角色,从过去知识的传授者、呈现者改变为学习活动的引导者、观察者和参与者。赋予课堂浓郁的文化气息可以激发学生的求知欲,营造自然的交流氛围,使学生更积极地参与到语言实践活动中。对英语教师而言,文化素养的提高是成功转变角色的前提。
The Tang Dynasty writer and thinker Han Yu said in Teacher’s Book: “The teacher and preacher are also puzzled by their profession.” The superb mastership and mastership skills are the embodiment of high-quality teachers. Influenced by the constructivism theory, the new curriculum reform requires teachers to change their roles and change from past educators and presenters of knowledge to guides, observers and participants of learning activities. Emphasizing the rich cultural atmosphere of the classroom can stimulate students’ curiosity and create a natural atmosphere of exchange so that students can participate more actively in language practice. For English teachers, the improvement of cultural attainment is the prerequisite for successful change of roles.
