Recently, Datong City, Shanxi Province, village volunteer service team was formally established to assume the responsibility of fire hazard screening, fire prevention publicity, emergency rescue and other duties. Since Datong was recruited to work in rural areas after hiring college graduates in 2006, college students and village officials actively participated in the construction of new countryside and fully demonstrated the good spirit of contemporary youth. In order to further strengthen the prevention and control of rural fires, the Public Security Fire Brigade in Datong actively broadened its thinking and invited more than 2,000 townships (towns), village safety committees and village party officials as fire safety supervisors in the city.
