许多发展中国家都曾效仿西方民主,又因为社会经济与政治条件不成熟而失败.目前发展中国家政治民主化浪潮日益高涨,健全民主制已成为许多发展中国家政治发展的主导方向.但与此同时,人们又不得不承认,那些经济发展成绩显著的发展中国家又都是在专制之下起飞的,且仍保持着一定的专制状态;而且前专制政权对经济发展也仍然有利有弊.因此,全面探讨专制政权对发展中国家经济发展的影响,以总结其经验教训,从而取其利而弃其弊,对探索发展中国家发展道路很有必要,且具有现实意义.
Many developing countries have followed the example of Western democracy and failed due to immature socio-economic and political conditions. At present, the wave of political democratization in developing countries is on the rise and sound democracy has become the dominant direction for the political development in many developing countries. At the same time, people also have to admit that those developing countries with remarkable achievements in economic development have all taken off under autocracy and still maintain a certain state of autarchy. Moreover, the former autocratic regimes still have their pros and cons for economic development. Therefore, it is very necessary and full of significance to explore the impact of authoritarian regimes on the economic development of developing countries in order to summarize their experiences and lessons so as to take advantage of its advantages and discard its disadvantages.
