From August 8 to August 10, the twelfth meeting of the Fifth People’s Congress of Zhuhai Municipality examined and adopted the “Regulations on Legal Publicity and Education in Zhuhai.” The regulations stipulate that it is the common responsibility of the whole society to carry out publicity and education on the rule of law and acceptance of legal education is the legal right to be enjoyed by citizens and the duty to be fulfilled. The people’s government at all levels should be required to include the publicity and education on the legal system in the plan for national economic and social development and be conscientiously organized and implemented as an important part of the socialist spiritual civilization and the building of a democratic legal system.
