本文试图梳理美国政府在好莱坞电影业持续快速发展的历程中所发挥的重要作用以及好莱坞对美国政府所做出的突出贡献。美国政府通过法律、税收优惠政策以及资金设备援助等方式为好莱坞提供支持,扶持好莱坞电影业的发展。而好莱坞也依靠其潜在的经济、文化和政治价值积极地为美国政府贡献自身的力量,维护美国国家利益。总而言之,好莱坞今天所取得的辉煌成就与美国政府所发挥的作用息息相关,美国政府也同样离不开好莱坞电影对华盛顿当局在各个方面的协助。
This article attempts to sort out the important role played by the U.S. government in the sustained and rapid growth of the Hollywood film industry and Hollywood’s outstanding contribution to the U.S. government. The U.S. government provides support to Hollywood through laws, preferential tax policies and capital equipment assistance to support the development of the Hollywood film industry. Hollywood, on the other hand, relies on its potential economic, cultural and political values to actively contribute its efforts to the U.S. government and safeguard its national interests. All in all, the brilliant achievements made by Hollywood today are closely linked with the role the U.S. government plays. The U.S. government can not do without the Hollywood film’s assistance to the Washington authorities in all aspects.
