微量元素铷(Rb)标记技术花费低、易操作、对环境安全,是研究昆虫种群动态、迁飞、扩散、配偶竞争、寄主选择等常用的方法。标记技术的基本要求是不影响标记对象的寿命和行为。本文通过将不同浓度的氯化铷(Rb Cl)添加到人工饲料中饲喂棉铃虫幼虫,研究了不同浓度的RbCl对棉铃虫的存活、生长发育以及飞行能力的影响和标记效果。结果表明:含有1000~4000 mg·L~(-1)RbCl的人工饲料可以有效地标记棉铃虫,且不影响棉铃虫的生命活动,Rb滞留时间不少于10 d,同时标记的雄虫可以将Rb传递给未标记的雌虫,这为利用此技术研究棉铃虫迁移扩散和交配竞争等奠定了基础。
Trace element rubidium (Rb) labeling technology is low cost, easy to operate and safe to the environment. It is a commonly used method to study insect population dynamics, migration and diffusion, spouse competition and host selection. The basic requirement of marking technology is that it does not affect the life and behavior of the marking object. In this paper, different concentrations of RbCl were added into artificial diet to feed the larvae of Helicoverpa armigera. The effects of different concentrations of RbCl on the survival, growth and development and flight ability of Helicoverpa armigera were studied. The results showed that the artificial diet containing 1000-4000 mg · L -1 RbCl could effectively label the cotton bollworm and did not affect the life activity of the cotton bollworm. The Rb residence time was not less than 10 days, The transfer of Rb to unlabeled females laid the foundation for using this technique to study the migration, proliferation and mating competition of cotton bollworm (Helicoverpa armigera).
