塔城市位于新疆维吾尔自治区西北部准噶尔盆地西北边缘的塔城盆地,地处东经82°41′-83°41′、北纬46°2′-47°14′。西北部与哈萨克斯坦共和国接壤,东与额敏县毗连,南与裕民县相邻。
Tacheng City is located in the Tacheng basin on the northwestern margin of the Junggar Basin in the northwestern Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
