董作宾(1895～1963),河南南阳人,字彦堂,号平庐。1918年入河南育才馆,攻习甲骨文。1922年入北京大学研究所国学门,从事甲骨文研究。先后在福州协和大学、中州大学、中山大学任教,1928年入中央研究院历史语言研究所,主持殷墟的调查发掘研究。1948年任中央研究院院士。1949年去台
Dong Zuobin (1895 ~ 1963), Henan Nanyang, Zi Yan Tong, No. Ping Lu. In 1918 into Henan CLC, Oracle. In 1922 into Peking University Institute Guoxue door, engaged in Oracle research. He successively taught at Fuzhou Kyowa University, Chung-shing University and Sun Yat-sen University. In 1928, he joined the Institute of History and Philology of the Academia Sinica and presided over the research on the investigation and study of the Yin Ruins. 1948 academician of the Central Academy of Sciences.
