由于广大人民的迫切需要;在中央人民政府成立以后,水利事来便大规模地展开了。它不仅限于大江大河,也不仅限于消极地防灾。为了保障并增加农业生产,为工业化创造有利条件,在各河流域的各个地区都展开了兴利除害的建设热潮。我们的人民水利事来在劳动人民的集体努力下,已经获得了很大的成就。
Due to the urgent needs of the broad masses of people, after the establishment of the Central People’s Government, water conservancy was launched on a large scale.
