For today’s art college students, perhaps no one does not know that they are living in a computer era. However, it is very difficult for us to ensure that everyone understands the characteristics of this era. The biggest difference between computers and the old stone tools, bronze tools, iron tools, and steam engines is that the objects it deals with are no longer Specific things, but the endless information resources in the universe, so the computer represents an information age. Since the 1990s, it has shown two major trends: First, in addition to the traditional data processing, the rapid development of multimedia such as graphics, audio, television and animation; the second is based on the popularity of personal computers, the formation of the Internet as the Represented information highway. Both form an unprecedented network of world-wide information resources shared by human beings and provide endless opportunities for visual artists to recognize and create new visual spaces. There is no doubt that the 21st century will be a truly visual era.
