According to incomplete statistics, there are more than 300,000 enthusiasts in the country. They read newspapers, collect newspapers, judge newspapers and study newspapers for pleasure. Some comrades searched for a rare newspaper and traveled south and went through untold hardships. Some comrades collected the books numbered from the Ming and Qing Dynasties to the founding of New China Newspapers in the tens of thousands have become well-known newspaper collectors, and have set up their own newspaper collections and been awarded the title of ”Patriotism Education Base" by the local party and government organs.
