由COMO集团打造的Point Yamu度假酒店,位于普吉岛东海岸宁静的Cape Yamu半岛。此处可一览安达曼海的开阔海景,更可俯视被联合国教科文组织列为世界遗产的攀牙湾石灰岩岩溶奇观。作为唯一拥有私人别墅的酒店,其尽显超现实主义的平静与安宁。酒店的设计围绕酒店附近的壮丽海景展开,开阔的空间给予环境宁静的开阔感。由意大利室内设计师Paola Navone为其量身设计的酒店空间,再次诠释了COMO一贯的当代简约风格。Point Yamu的设计灵感来自海岸,室内充分糅合泰国当地文化元素,将当地工匠打造的极为独特的手工艺品融入到设计当中。Paola Navone不仅对图案和色彩有着优秀的把控力,还能灵活操纵柔和与强烈、实而虚的光线及阴影。如充满现代感的建筑外观,其建筑表皮采用了金属网,宛如面纱在一定程度上弱化了原建筑生硬的建筑形体。此金属网不仅能有效分解太阳光,其建筑外观以一种意想不到的方式在建筑本身和周围景观之间起着连接作用。此次别致典雅的创作,不仅令客人有宾至如归的感觉,同时也愉悦了人们的感官。
The Point Yamu Resort, built by the COMO Group, is located on the quiet Cape Yamu Peninsula on Phuket’s east coast. Here you can view the open sea of the Andaman Sea and overlook the limestone karst in Phang Nga Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As the only hotel with a private villa, it is full of surrealist calm and tranquility. The hotel’s design revolves around the breathtaking sea view near the hotel, with open spaces giving a peaceful and spacious feel to the environment. Designed by the Italian interior designer Paola Navone, the hotel space once again expresses COMO’s consistent contemporary minimalist style. Inspired by the coast, Point Yamu is designed with the blend of Thai local culture and the unique craftsmanship created by local artisans. Paola Navone not only has excellent control over patterns and colors, but also flexible manipulation of soft, intense, real light and shadow. As full of modern architectural appearance, the construction of the skin with a metal mesh, like a veil to a certain extent, weakened the original architectural blunt building form. Not only does this metal mesh effectively decompose sunlight, its architectural appearance plays an unexpected role in connecting the building itself to the surrounding landscape. This chic and elegant creation not only makes guests feel at home, but also delights people’s senses.
