仓储管理是书店工作的组成部分,是图书进入流通领域后的首要管理工作。本文就基层新华书店的仓储管理谈一些看法。一、充分认识仓储管理的作用马克思说过:“没有商品的储备,就没有商品的流通。”图书作为书店的商品,必须要有合理的储备。没有合理的图书储备,书店就不能有效地参与图书市场的竞争,也不能充分满足读者在一定时期内对图书的需求。基层书店的仓储管理,主要的就是对图书商品储备的管理,当然还有其它的一些管理。仓储管理部门是书店人、财、物相对集中的一个部门,它既是书店的先行官,又是书店的后勤部。加强仓储管理,对提高图书发行质量、实现两个效益有着重要的作用。首先,加强仓储管理,能使图书流程畅通无阻,让图书尽快地进入阅读领域,满足读者的需求。如果仓储管理混乱,就会造成图书流通的中断,从而影响图书正常的生产和流通。其次,加强仓储管理,能促进
