日本四国铁路公司多渡津工厂过去二十年来一直采用5槽式摇动清洗机清洗轮对用滚动轴承，由于使用了清洗剂，后又采用人工蒸汽清洗，因而劳动条件恶劣，生产效率低，还污染环境。1998年开发成功了由高压清洗槽、精洗槽、空气喷吹槽、煤油清洗槽等装置组成的新型清洗生产线，采用80℃的高压热水作为清洗介质。收到了提高生产效率，改善劳动条件，保护生态环境的效果。
