In November 2003, the Cushman Foraging Research Foundation of the United States awarded this year’s “Foraminifera Research Outstanding Talent Award” to the academician Zheng Shouyi of the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, which is the highest award for the international research on foraminifera.
