Gas Natural Gas Reforming Company (Gas2) was released on July 23, 2013 to conduct pilot studies on its new medium-sized reactor unit to develop the next generation of gas-to-liquids technology (GTL). The unit, which invests £ 5 million (equivalent to $ 7.7 million) at the Wilton Research Center in Teeside, England, to validate and hydrodynamically model five-year-old laboratory tests will be conducted at Throughout 2013. Gas2, based in Aberdeen, has developed pMRTM, a catalytic ceramic based porous membrane that can be used in its gas reforming and Fischer-Tropsch synthesis reactors. This is an alternative to other medium and small-scale GTLs.
