我县于1984年秋从江苏引进大荚箭舌豌豆种5000斤,分别播种在县园艺场、黄沙、龙谭茶场、灰埠柑桔园和东方红青湖村,共计851亩,其中850亩为黄红壤岗地上的果、茶园,这些园地土壤贫瘠缺肥,有机质甚少,易受干旱等。但由于注意了播种质量,做到了适期播种,一播全苗,因而生长较好,鲜草产量和种子产量均比较高。鲜草最高的亩产7000斤,一般3500斤,最差的也有1000多斤。我们主要采取了如下技术措施:
