教学最优化理论认为:“教学最优化可以说是从解决教学任务的有效性和师生时间消费的合理性着眼,有科学根据地选择和实施该条件下最佳的教学方案”。简而言之,就是指在一定条件下,利用合理的时间达到最大的教学成效,从而实现教学的有效性。高中生物实验是生物教学内容的重要组成部分,也是重要的教学方法。通过生物学实验,学生能够深化理解生物学知识、掌握实验的基本方法和基本技能、体验科学研究的过程、萌发探究和创新的意识。针对新教材中实验的数目增加、类型增多、内容和比例加大的现状,如何提高生物实验教学的有效性成为生物教师必然面临的问题。
