连接柏林中央火车站和S-Bahn火车北站的新的电车线路2014年12月14日开通部分区段。该段线路从Friedrichstrasse和Invalidenstrasse枢纽沿着Invalidenstrasse运行到中央火车站的北入口电车站。这条线路目前在中央火车站的西端有1条折返线。中央火车站有M5号线连接,该线通往东部市郊,采用柏林运输公司的庞巴迪Flexity型轻轨车。东段的试运营将增加2条线路,M8号线和M10号线,都能为中央火车站服务。2.9 k m双轨线路耗资3 000万欧
New tram lines connecting to Berlin Central Station and S-Bahn North Station 14 December 2014 Opening of some sections. This route runs from the Friedrichstrasse and Invalidenstrasse hubs along Invalidenstrasse to the north entrance tram stop of the central station. This route currently has a return line at the western end of the Central Station. The Central Station is connected by the M5 line, which leads to the eastern outskirts and uses the Berlin Transit’s Bombardier Flexity light railcar. The trial operation of the eastern section will add 2 lines, M8 line and M10 line, can serve the Central Railway Station. The 2.9 km dual-track line costs 30 million Euro
