Laser in situ keratomileusis(LASIK)is currently themost popular keratorefractive procedure performedworldwide with generally excellent outcomes. However, infectious keratitis after LASIK is a devastating,vision-threatening complication. The common pathogenswere bacteria and fungi.Nontuberculous mycobacterium(NTM)accounted for a substantial proportion of thesepathogens. Most NTM infections(86% of cases)wereinvolved in unilateral cornea. In this study,we report sixpatients with bilateral NTM keratitis following LASIK.
