Talking about Gigabit products, always feel out of reach and expensive. On November 24, Force 10 Networks announced the launch of the E300, a compact 10 Gigabit Ethernet switch / router product, redefining the market for high-performance 10 Gigabit Ethernet products. As a compact and affordable platform, the E300 costs only 1/8 of the 10Gb products on the market today, reducing the cost of entry with 10GbE technology for small and medium-sized data centers, high-performance computing and campus backbone
