金属纤维是70年代兴起的一种多用途工业材料,具有极广泛的应用价值。采用振动切削法加工金属短纤维,生产效率高,能加工多种规格和金属的纤维。为满足纤维制品的要求,需要防止纤维生锈和过多含油量。使用切削液冷却刀具,固然能降低切削温度,提高刀具耐用度,但将污染金属纤维,从而需增加金属纤维烘干、去油的设备。因此采用一种无给油状态,又能冷却刀具的方法——热管冷却振动刀具是一种有效的方法。
