Since the 1920s, Chinese people have begun to take martial arts action films and kung fu films. Nearly a hundred years later, the development of martial arts movies in China can be described as prolonged. And this type of movie, in addition to the Chinese outside the circle will rarely have other countries try. Similarly, almost at the same time, Japan began the exploration and filming of warrior movies, and their enthusiasm for this type of film is as much as the Chinese preference for martial arts movies. Swordsman movies and samurai films, almost can be miniature for the national character of China and Japan, a symbol of spiritual culture. So what are the similarities and differences between these two genres, where are the underlying causes of these same and different ones?
