硅藻土一般是由统称为硅藻的单细胞藻类的遗骸形成的生物沉积矿床,本质是含水的非晶质二氧化硅.硅藻土质轻多孔,保温、隔音性能好,用途广泛.但利用硅藻土焙烧轻质陶粒在目前还是一个新的尝试.本试验用云南省寻甸县先锋硅藻土为主要原料,加入少量价廉易取的助胀剂,以试验室硅碳棒箱式电炉为焙烧设备,通过探索试验,在取得一定技术数据的前提下,在云南省建筑材料研究设计院的回转窑内完成了连续性的扩大试验,烧出了松散容重在450kg/m~3以下的轻质硅藻土陶粒.
Diatomaceous earth is generally a biodeposited deposit formed by the remains of unicellular algae, collectively referred to as diatom, and is essentially a water-containing amorphous silica. Diatomaceous earth is light and porous, has good heat preservation and sound insulation properties, and is widely used. The diatomite roasting of lightweight ceramsite is still a new attempt at present. This experiment uses the pioneer diatomite as the main raw material in Xundian County, Yunnan Province, and adds a small amount of inexpensive and easy-to-assisted bloating agent to the laboratory silicon carbon rod box. The electric furnace was a roasting equipment. Through exploration and experimentation, under the premise of obtaining certain technical data, a continuous expansion test was completed in the rotary kiln of Yunnan Research Institute of Building Materials, and a loose bulk density of 450 kg/m~3 was achieved.
