最近,美国杜邦公司玻璃纤维部与英国累兰德汽车公司合作,研制出一种新颖的消音材料,首先在汽车上使用获得成功,其消音效果甚佳。 该材料是用未硫化的氯丁橡胶为主要消音材料。它共有四层,第一层为铝箔防护屋;第二层为1.7mm厚的未硫化的氯丁橡胶;第三层为玻璃纤维;第四层为铝箔。该材料的边缘能防止水渗入。氯丁橡胶不必硫化是便于确定外形。由于省去了硫化工艺,因而可以节省能源。 据说,该新颖消音材料还非常适用于作音乐室的隔音壁以及其它需要消音地方的壁材。
Recently, the DuPont Fiberglass Division of the United States teamed up with the British Randland Automotive Company to develop a novel sound-absorbing material that was first used successfully in automobiles and has a very good sound-damping effect. The material is made of unvulcanized neoprene as the main sound-absorbing material. It consists of four layers. The first layer is aluminum foil protective house; the second layer is 1.7mm thick uncured neoprene; the third layer is glass fiber; the fourth layer is aluminum foil. The edge of the material prevents water penetration. Neoprene does not have to be vulcanized to facilitate shape determination. As the vulcanization process is omitted, energy can be saved. It is said that this novel sound-absorbing material is also very suitable for use as a soundproof wall of a music room and other wall materials that need to be silenced.
