四川省雅安地区名优石材品种多,资源量大,尤以“红”(花岗石)、“白”(大理石)、“绿”(花岗石)三大系列构成我区名优石材的主体优势。经过近十几年的开发,石材工业由小变大,初具生产规模,已成为地区经济发展中的一大支柱产业,享誉中外。 1.红色系列花岗石 该系列花岗石产于晋宁——澄江期。岩性均为钾长花岗岩。矿石的主要矿物成分:钾长石50～66%、斜长石5～10％、石英25～33%、黑云母1～10％。以中粗粒花岗结构为主,块状构造。本系列花岗石包括:
