在我的印象中,知青生活最具象征意义的,是每天傍晚西边山头上将落未落的夕阳。当知青们拖着劳作一天的疲惫身躯荷锄下山时,每每会受到这轮巨大的、血红色的、已不怎么刺眼的夕阳所鼓舞,所激励,所感化,还常会挑逗起引喉高歌的欲望,许多复杂的情感似乎都包含在这夕阳余辉的沐浴中了。这是最朴素最直白的乡土美学教育。时隔多年、我们都回到了城里,高楼大厦越长越高,从窗口望出去,我们已经难得看见红日落山的景观。传统与现代的对接,自然与社会的对接,就在这样的时空交错中不知不觉地完成了……
