Obturator hia is an uncommon disease in clinic. A precise pre-operative diagnosis is difficult to make due its low morbidity rate and the ambiguity of its clinical features.1 Typical clinical observations include intestinal obstruction, Romberg-Howship symptom, a palpable mass in the groin area, and a history of relapse. However, not all of these factors are always presented. In most cases, only bowel obstruction is evident. In the last decade, two cases of obturator hia were admitted into our hospital. We reviewed them and report as follows:
