安东·巴甫洛维奇·契诃夫(图1、2,苏联,1940),1860年出生于俄国亚速海岸小港埠塔甘罗格的一个普通家庭。父亲曾在教堂乐队担任过指挥;母亲婚前曾写过小说,成家后她常把这些小说念给孩子们听,孩子们从小受到文学的熏陶。在开办小杂货铺经商后,契诃夫的父亲变得性情粗暴、专横,契诃夫和两个哥哥放学以后必须站柜台,学会应付顾客和一些买卖上的小伎俩。
Anton Pavlovich Chekhov (Figures 1, 2, USSR, 1940), an ordinary family born in Taganrog in 1860 as a small port on the Russian Azov coast. His father had served as conductor in the church band; his mother had written novels before her marriage, and she often read these novels to children after she became married. Children have been influenced by literature since her childhood. After opening a small grocery store, Chekhov’s father became abusive and tyrannical. Chekhov and his two brothers had to stop over the counter after school and learn to deal with customers and some tricks in trading.
