The purpose of the war is “to save ourselves and destroy the enemy.” There must be casualties in combat, but each military commander always wants the least bit of bloodshed in return for maximum success. It would be helpful for commanders to understand some of the principles of casualties and to use them in practice and combat. If health service workers understand these principles, they also help to take the initiative to carry out combat rescue work. In the past, military affairs seldom discussed from this point of view, but there was no mention in the health service school.
