17年间,作为一名基层纪检监察干部,他共组织和参与查办各类违纪违法案件1390件,其中,万元以上的案件380件,给予党纪政纪处分的党员干部1350人,为国家和集体挽回经济损失6500多万元。1990年12月,他被评为“全国优秀纪检干部”。1996年1月,临邑县纪委、监察局被授予“全国纪检监察系统先进集体”称号。他就是山东省临邑县原纪委书记赵好玉同志。
