Nile tilapia is widely adaptable, easy to domesticate, less disease, short breeding cycle, delicious meat, is the tilapia individuals the largest fine varieties. In 1976, FAO recommended it to the world as a fine breed of freshwater aquaculture. However, Nile tilapia is currently only in the promotion of freshwater trial and has not been used as a target for mariculture. In order to explore the possibility of coastal breeding of this variety in China, Qinzhou County Freshwater Aquaculture Farm and Qinzhou County Bureau of Fisheries and other units in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region with the support of the Yangtze River Fisheries Research Institute, Nigeria
