Dana Street does not look dilapidated. It is part of a residential area built in the late 1980s. Here you can see stucco walls, wooden wall panels and under-sized fences - the same sort of suburban neighborhood where many working-class people live. However, here you can also see the broken windows, signs for sale and yellow lawn, from these subtle clues you can learn what the residents have had. Since more than two years after the housing crisis broke out, 20% of houses on Dana Street have been recovered (because the debtors are unable to repay the loan and the houses are forcibly taken back and sold), people are wondering who the next one will turn.
