作为一部与民众利益密切相关的法律,《就业促进法》在起草之初就受到社会各界的广泛关注,本刊也曾就草案审议过程中有关专家的建议和观点进行了论述。历经三次审议、反复修改,将从明年1月1日起开始实施的《就业促进法》提出了“国家把扩大就业放在经济社会发展的突出位置,实施积极的就业政策,坚持劳动者自主择业、市场调节就业、政府促进就业”的方针。对于普通的大众而言,禁止就业歧视、扶助困难群体、规范就业服务和管理……诸多人们关心的就业问题在这部法律中都有体现,成为了人们讨论的热点。
