自2005年5月,“中国意象油画展”学术研讨会上,上海博物馆馆长,陈燮君作了《关于意象油画的几点思考》的发言中首次明确提出了“意象油画”一词。直到现在探索意象油画的团体和个人也越来越多,不同形式的艺术语言表达样式更加丰富,他们从中国传统山水画中去探寻个人的不同理解,进行油画语言形式的转接。但这样的嫁接形式并不是长久之计,每一位对意象油画感兴趣的艺术家,特别是青年艺术工作者,不应该仅仅局限于对这一艺术形式的嫁接,而应该去尽可能的主动探索意象绘画中更丰富和广阔的空间。
Since May 2005, at the symposium entitled “China Image Oil Painting Exhibition”, the director of Shanghai Museum and Chen Xiejun made the first remark in his speech “Reflections on Image Oil Painting” word. Until now, more and more groups and individuals are exploring the oil painting of images. Different forms of artistic language are more abundant in expression style. They seek different understandings of individuals from Chinese traditional landscape painting and carry on the transfer of oil painting language forms. However, such a form of grafting is not a long-term solution. Every artist who is interested in oil painting, especially the young artists, should not confine himself solely to the grafting of this art form. Instead, he should try to take the initiative to explore Imagery painting more rich and vast space.
