Chen Beixi (1159 ~ 1223) is a Chinese thinker who greatly influenced the development of Japanese neo-Confucianism in the seventeenth century. But it is puzzling that the meaning of the North Han “) has seriously neglected the contribution to the framework and content of early philosophical speculation in Tokugawa Japan (1600-1867). This article attempts to reveal the spread of Beixi’s ”meaning" in Japan and the Japanese scholar Linluosan (1583-1657) during this period.
